Bookmarks in reading and life.
In reading, bookmarks identify ends and beginnings. They sit at the crossroads between where we left off the night before and where we will start today.
In life, they can be left in place to identify important milestones and setbacks. They identify moments that came before and are now left behind as memories.
Bookmarks are generally rectangular, necessitated by their function. These bookmarks fit into corners that other art does not easily occupy.
The bookmarks in this project come with pictures that tell a story of a wonderful 7 weeks in France in 2014.
